Fire Heavily Damages Double-Story Structure

Lexington firefighters were called to McDowell Road Saturday evening for a structure fire that reportedly caused a significant amount of damage.

They said it happened around 6:30 in what appeared to be a guest house behind another home.

Fire crews said the building was heavily damaged in the back on the top and bottom floors.

No one was hurt.

Investigators are still looking into how the fire started.
