A home in the Masterson Station area was destroyed by a fire Wednesday afternoon, according to fire officials.

Firefighters said the fire started at a home on White Wood Flat caught just around 12:30 PM and spread to two neighboring homes. The homes were damaged, but are still livable, according to officials. Extra firefighters were called onto the scene so they could rotate in the extreme heat and humidity.

No one was hurt in the fire, but investigators are still looking into the cause.
