Firefighters are trying to figure out what started a Lexington house fire Friday afternoon on Mt. McKinley Way.

Crews said no one was at the two-story home when they arrived.

Although they don't yet know the official cause, they do know the fire began in the basement.

Firefighters said the home was a total loss.
