A frozen turkey and a deep fryer don't get along.

The Danville Fire Department put out a video to show what can happen if you try to deep fry a turkey that's not properly thawed.

Firefighters say its important to make sure it is both thawed and dry.

You should also have the fryer at least ten feet from anything flammable, and have a fire extinguisher handy.
