Female Prison Employee Accused Of Having Sex With Male Inmate

State Police said a female employee at a state prison in Bell County is accused of having a sexual relationship with a male inmate.

Investigators said Tasha Knuckles, 28, of Frakes, was charged with Rape 3rd Degree.

State Police said on May 20, 2013, officials at the Bell County Forestry Camp in Pineville contacted investigators about one of the prison's employees reportedly having sexual contact with a male inmate.

Investigators said they obtained more than 50-hours of phone conversations between Knuckles and the inmate.  His name was not released by investigators.

State Police said on December 20, 2013, Knuckles was arrested and charged in the case and lodged in the Bell County Detention Center.

State Police said the case remained under investigation.
