Fayette Mall customers and employees were left in the dark earlier today.

Over two dozen stores close to the food court lost electricity, while some of the lights nearby flickered.

The power shut off at around 11:30 am, and was restored just before 2.

The outage was caused when some electrical equipment broke due to the cold weather.
