On Monday, Fayette County Public Schools Superintendent Tom Shelton will ask the school board to extend the school day by 15-minutes to make up for snow days.

If approved by the board, the extended school day would begin Monday, April 7th.

Superintendent Shelton will also ask the board to decide that June 6th would be the last day of school, as long as their aren't any more snow days this school year.

Fayette County has canceled 13-days this school year due to bad weather.
