Lexington fire says the burn and fireworks bans for Fayette County will be lifted as of 7AM Saturday.

Fire officials say the recent amount of rain is the cause for the bans being lifted.

The department adds that fireworks can only be set off between 10AM and 10PM, and that you still need a permit for open burning.
