Ex-Deputies Sentenced To Prison

A Federal judge sentenced to ex-deputies to 50 months in prison on Wednesday, for stealing marijuana and carrying their police-issued firearms at the time.

Norris Bartley and Billy Joe Mattingtly of Washington County had admitted to stealing the 30 pounds of pot. They also admitted using their official firearms during the crime.

After serving their sentences, the two will face three years of supervised release.
