The Knox County Sheriff's Office says they found the pickup truck reportedly stolen by an Estill County escapee.

The sheriff says the black pickup they found was confirmed to be the one reportedly stolen by Daniel Patterson, Junior.

The sheriff says the pickup was abandoned at an empty house in Knox County, near where Patterson's parents live.

Authorities say Patterson ran off while being taken in for a court appearance in Estill County on Wednesday.

Investigators in Knox County wanted to bring in K9 units after the pickup was found, but couldn't because of the wet weather.

Authorities say Patterson is considered dangerous.
