Midnight Update: Our broken line of showers is slowly falling apart. Light rain is falling in an area generally stretching from Morehead to Irvine and further southwest into London. Individual showers are moving northeast as the line slowly shifts east.

A few more isolated showers are still possible Monday morning and into the early afternoon, but most areas will stay dry.

Temperatures are in the mid 50s right now with Lexington sitting at 55°. We are only expecting a drop of a few more degrees by the morning commute.

Have a good week! Meteorologist Michael Estime will update you on our drying conditions and our next warming trend starting at 5 a.m. on Good Morning Kentucky.

A broken line of rain showers is very slowly pushing east this evening. The line has pushed east of Lexington, but I wouldn't sound the all clear just quite yet. Scattered rain will continue to be possible overnight, mainly in eastern Kentucky. Morning lows will be in the low 50s for the commute to work and school.

While nearly everyone will stay dry Monday afternoon, there is a very slim chance of a couple isolated showers popping up in the region. Otherwise, expect mostly cloudy skies during the day with some late afternoon sunshine possible. Afternoon highs will be in the upper 60s.

The warming trend will continue Tuesday with mostly sunny skies and temperatures near 80°!
