Life is a journey, a journey we’ve been able to make on “Kentucky’s Backroads” for many years.  This is the end of the road, a road which began on a summer day in 1995 when we visited Happy, Ordinary, Hippo, Orlando, Busy and Krypton, Kentucky all in one day.

The great adventure over 17 years has taken us from the amazing arches of the Red River Gorge to the Great Saltpetre Cave.

Along the way we’ve met wonderful Kentuckians with unbelievable talents.  They inspired us.

Thanks to the talented photographers who accompanied me on the journey.  You are the best.

As I always say, “I’m Greg Stotelmyer on Kentucky’s Backroads.”

Greg, You are a talent and an inspiration. I know many young reporters learned much from you over those years. What a body of work! Best of luck on your next journeys. Adam Walser, WHAS-TV

Sorry to see Greg go. Corporate greed trumps quality programming again.

Sad to see this show go, I always loved learning about more about my state and what makes it special.
