A pilot who had trouble retracting the front landing gear on a private jet is the cause of an early morning emergency call at Blue Grass Airport.

A dozen or more crews responded around 7:30 a.m. Thursday morning.

Airport Spokewoman Amy Caudill said the plane was diverted to Indianapolis at the last minute so it could burn off more fuel.

It is still unclear how many people were on board the plane.
