Ellis Park in Henderson is ready to open a new gaming parlor to offer 'Instant Racing.'

The slot-like game allows players to bet on previously run horse races.

The game is considered an alternative to traditional slot machines, which are illegal in the Commonwealth of Kentucky.

The legality of 'Instant Racing' is being challenged in court, but it is being allowed while it makes its way through the legal system.

Ellis Park is the second horse racing track in Kentucky to offer 'Instant Racing.'

Kentucky Downs in Franklin started offering the game last year.
