Eliot To Become UK's Defensive Coordinator

Florida State head coach Jimbo Fisher told reporters at an Orange Bowl news conference on Wednesday that Seminoles' defensive ends coach DJ Eliot has accepted offer to become Kentucky's defensive coordinator.

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fl. - Florida State defensive ends coach D.J. Eliot will follow Mark Stoops from Tallahassee to Lexington to become the new Kentucky head coach's defensive coordinator.

Florida State head coach Jimbo Fisher confirmed that at an Orange Bowl news conference on Wednesday.

Florida State had seven defensive players named first or second-team All-ACC on Wednesday, which included the ACC defensive player of the year - defensive end Bjeorn Werner.

Eliot has been coaching defensive ends at Florida State the past three seasons.
