Kentucky transportation officials said on Thursday that the Eggner's Ferry Bridge over Kentucky Lake will reopen in time for the Memorial Day weekend.
A ship took out one span of the bridge back on January 26th.
A concrete deck has been poured and a replacement span is in place.
The bridge carries U.S. 68 between the western shore of the lake and the Land Between the Lakes recreation area, which is vital to tourism in the area.
