Eastern Kentucky University has been ranked number one in Military Times Edge Magazine in it's 'Best For Vets College Issue.'

The magazine ranks 4-year colleges based on their commitment to helping veterans. Eastern Kentucky University started the 'Operation Veteran Success' program in 2010 which helps vets to further their education. Some of the initiatives of the program include no admission fees for undergrad veterans, and a magazine credit hours for military experience.
