EPA To Clean Mercury Spill

EPA To Clean Mercury Spill

A mercury spill in a Lexington home is so complicated, the EPA will have to handle it.
The EPA is taking over the mercury clean-up at a some on Shelby Street in Lexington.

ABC 36 News told you Tuesday night that six people and a dog were in this home, when a blood pressure device broke. One woman had to go to the hospital, because of exposure to mercury.

The fire department says the mercury clean-up is so complicated and expensive, the house may be impossible to clean, and might have to be torn down instead.
