School officials say EKU Police arrested a 19-year-old finance major on Tuesday night in connection to the armed robbery on Sunday night.

Zain Gilmore from Tampa, Florida is charged with burglary and robbery. Campus officials say Gilmore was a student at EKU and that he lived in Clay Hall, which game him access to the building.

School officials say, "All of our exterior doors at our residence halls are locked and you must have a fob that you waive across to allow entrance."

Gilmore is being held under a $20,000 bond in the Madison County Detention Center.
