EKU Returns To Richmond To Celebrate NCAA Berth

The sun - shining just a bit brighter in Richmond than anywhere else in Kentucky today - the Eastern Kentucky basketball team, back in town after punching its ticket to the NCAA tournament with a win last night in the OVC Champ game.

Richmond welcoming back its conquering heros today as the team returned from Nashville.

Colonels - beating conference favorite Belmont with a barrage of threes in Nashville a night ago. 11 of 22 from behind the line.

EKU - back in the big dance since 2007 - Miley Cyrus was still Hannah Montana back then. It's EKU's 8th apperance in the tourney.
