EKU jumped out to a 34-8 halftime lead on fellow top 25 member Jacksonville State on Saturday.
The Colonels (3-1, 1-0 OVC) took care of business in the second half to keep the Gamecocks well from striking distance in the 51-21 win to start off conference play the right way.
