Police spent Wednesday looking for 19 people in Breathitt County, as part of a massive drug sweep targeting prescription drug abuse.

Jackson Police and Operation UNITE began arresting people around eight a.m. Wednesday morning. By the afternoon, ten of the 19 wanted suspects had been found.

This bust has in the works since summer, when UNITE detectives started looking for individuals suspected of trafficking in prescription pills, and methamphetamines.

Most of the suspects arrested ended up in the Three Forks Regional Jail.
