One man was taken jail after state police investigated suspected drug activity just north of Irvine.

Deputies say they went to a home on Spout Springs Road Monday where they arrested 54-year-old Charles Warner.

He faces charges of marijuana cultivation, drug possession, possession of a convicted felon, and having prescription medication outside of it's proper container.

He was put in the Estill County Jail.
