Drug Disposal Day Brings In Thousands Of Pills

Families in our State’s Capitol are a little safer today according to Frankfort Police.

Police partnered with the Health Department and the DEA for their 13th Drug Disposal Day.

The goal was to get unused prescription medications out of the house in order to cut down on potential thefts, environmental hazards and even drug abuse.

The past 12 drug disposal events have brought in more than 400,000 pills.
