Richmond police arrested two people for drug offenses following a traffic stop near I-75.
At approximately 1:12 a.m. Thursday, an officer stopped a vehicle being driven by Keila A. Davidson, 22, of Berea, at the I-75 southbound on-ramp at Exit 87. The officer said he subsequently recovered four Oxycodone pills from Davidson’s person and three Skelaxin pills from her purse.
A passenger in the vehicle was identified as Brandon H. Davidson, 18, of Berea. Police say two methadone pills were recovered from the seat that he was occupying in the vehicle.Both parties were taken into custody and lodged in the Madison County Detention Center. Both were charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Keila Davidson was also charged with illegal possession of a legend drug.
