Temperatures are hovering in the lower to middle 80s in the Bluegrass Region, and about 7°-10° cooler in southern Kentucky as clouds thicken and showers and thunderstorms slide north.  Moisture is surging into Kentucky from Tennessee as a slow-moving front wavers north.  The next four or five days will bring significant drought relief, with many showers and thunderstorms on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.  Active weather will continue into the early and middle part of next week as the front lingers nearby.  Skies will eventually trend brighter, but spotty afternoon thunderstorms will still be possible through Wednesday.  Highs will be in the 80s through the entire 7-day forecast.
