A late-night crash sent a truck plowing through a fence in Lexington.

It happened just after 11:30 p.m. Wednesday on Muir Station Road, near Bryan Station Road.

Police said a driver went off the road and through a fence.

They said witnesses told them two people fled the scene after the accident.

Police searched a nearby field to see if there were any victims but did not find anyone.

Police said cases of beer were found at the wreck site.
