An accident temporarily shut down a Lexington street Tuesday night.
The single-vehicle accident happened on Parkers Mill Road and Man o' War Boulevard just before 11:30 p.m.
Lexington police said the driver struck a utility pole and broke it. .
Windstream was called to the scene to repair the pole while officers closed down the street.
Police said the driver suffered minor injuries in the crash.
They do believe alcohol was a factor.
