Driver Hits Pedestrian, Takes Off

Police are searching for a driver that struck a pedestrian in Lexington, and then took off.

It happened around midnight Thursday near the intersection of Georgetown Street and Newtown Pike.

Police said a man was crossing the street when he was hit by an older model, white Toyota. The car then drove off.

The man was taken to the hospital with what police said were minor injuries.
