Prosecutors recommended 25 years in prison for a man accused of driving drunk and killing a five year old Woodford County boy last year.

Police said Alfonso Diaz-Diaz, 26, was drunk and driving the wrong way down US 60 in Versailles in April of 2013 when he collided with another car.

The crash killed five year old Blake Cohorn and sent five others to the hospital.

Diaz entered an Alford Plea Wednesday in the case.

It meant that he did not admit guilt, but acknowledged that there might be enough evidence for a conviction.

Diaz-Diaz is to be sentenced on August 6th.
