Kentucky Children's Hospital is full of smiles, after a visit from a national champ.

The kids got to hang out with national champion Doron Lamb. The former University of Kentucky men's basketball player visited with young patients Friday afternoon.

Lamb posed for pictures with the kids, and signed autographs. The former Wildcat star says he has always wanted to have kids, and enjoys seeing the joy on their faces.

During his first visit to Kentucky Children's Hospital, Lamb says he had a blast.
