A Lexington man convicted in the murder of his wife has received a life sentence.
Donald Southworth, 49, was convicted in January of murdering Umi Southworth, 44.
She was found severely beaten behind their home in June 2010. Umi Southworth died the next day.
A judge denied Donald Southworth's motion for a new trial on Thursday.
