The Avengers' is packing in the crowds.

Are those people also buying comic books in bigger numbers?

The hit movie includes several popular Marvel comic book characters.

Russell Battaglia is the Owner of A-Plus Comics in Lexington.

He says while the publicity helps some, the movie isn't making him rich.

"You know, it keeps it fresh. Keeps it out there. But it doesn't push people through the doors. It gives us opportunities, to be able to do things, where we just had free comic book day, and gave away tons of free comic books. That builds up a lot of excitement. But the movies. It would be great, I'll take half a percent from the release of the film, if they'll give that to me. Otherwise, we don't get a whole lot out of it," says Battaglia.

'The Avengers' earned more than $370 million in just 10 days here in the US.
