Disaster Recovery Center Opens In Laurel County

A disaster recovery center is now open in Laurel County to help survivors of the recent tornadoes.

Recovery specialists there can answer questions about your disaster recovery including; FEMA housing assistance; the Small Business Administration's disaster assistance loan program; and the status of FEMA applications.

The recovery center is located at the CD Ward Masonic Lodge on School Street in East Bernstadt. Hours for the recovery center are 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. through this Sunday; then Monday through Saturday after that.
