Quarterbacks Joe Montana and Steve Young with the Niners. Emmitt Smith and Tony Dorsett running the rock with the Cowboys. Certain nfl franchises are forever linked with a position.

For the Pittsburgh Steelers - it's the center.

Dermontti Dawson, the second Pro Football Hall of Fame center to wear black and yellow, returned home to Bryan Station, his alma mater to see his no. 75 retired by the school.

Dawson took the time to reflect on the men that helped him take those first steps toward canton last night.
