The Irvine Police say Stephen Silagy went to the Estill County library attempting to get a library card.

When asked for documentation Silagy flashed his jailer ID card and claimed to be the Clark County Sheriff.

Silagy is accused of impersonating a peace officer and faces up to 5 years in prison.
