Pulaski Co. Deputy Faces Federal Civil Rights Violations

A Federal grand jury has indicted a Pulaski County Sheriff's Deputy on allegations of civil rights violations.
A Federal grand jury has indicted a Pulaski County Sheriff's Deputy on allegations of civil rights violations.

The U.S. Attorney's Office accuses 48-year-old Stephen Molen of using excessive force in October of 2009 and October of 2011.

Prosecutors say the cases involve two different victims and that both resulted in bodily injury.

The FBI reportedly handled the investigation.

The U.S. Attorney's Office says if Molen is convicted, he will face a statutory maximum punishment of 10 years in prison for each count.
