Deputies Raid Laurel Co. Home to Find Wanted Fugitive

The Laurel County Sheriff's Office has reported a man who allegedly stole two fuel tanks from a semi and an aluminum boat is now in custody.

Deputies said they found Bryan Fields, 32, at his aunt's home on Jackson Road, hiding in an attic crawlspace shortly after 11:30 Monday morning.

He was arrested and charged with theft by unlawful taking $500 or more but under $10,000 and receiving stolen property under $10,000, as well as fleeing and evading police.

Fields' aunt, 60-year-old Joyce Mounce, was also arrested for hindering prosecution or apprehension.

Two others in the home, 34-year-old Robert Kazee and 26-year-old Billie Eversole, were arrested as well.

Eversole was charged with hindering prosecution or apprehension.

Kazee was also wanted for theft by unlawful taking $500 or more but under $10,000, and he was charged with hindering prosecution or apprehension.

All four suspects were booked in the Laurel County Detention Facility.
