Deputies: London Man Tried To Buy Drugs Near A School

The Laurel Sheriff’s Department has arrested a man who they say was trying to buy drugs near a school.

34-year-old David Philpot of London is in the Laurel County Detention Center.

Deputies say he was trying to buy oxycodone pills Friday morning from someone off US 25.

They say it happened within 1,000 feet of a school.
