Deputies: Gambling Hall Busted In Laurel Co.

The Laurel County Sheriff's Office said it raided a reported gambling hall Friday near Lily.

Deputies said community complaints and tips led them to Absolutely Auction, about nine miles south of London.

The Sheriff's Office said it seized more than 20 gambling machines, poker chips, cards and a large amount of cash.

Deputies said Freddie Russell, 65, of Corbin was charged with promoting gambling, 2nd degree.
