Two Laurel County dental employees were arrested after officials said they were calling in fake prescriptions.

Two Laurel County dental employees were arrested after officials said they were calling in fake prescriptions.

The Laurel County Sheriff’s Office said they arrested Katrina Dixon, 35, and Ashley Coffey, 25, Monday afternoon.

Detectives said the two worked for a local dentist and were calling in forged patient prescriptions for Hydrocodone, then keeping them for themselves.

Both are in the Laurel County Detention Center.
