A dry overnight is expected with scattered clouds and cool temperatures dropping into the mid 50s.

The clouds will thicken on Thursday as temperatures peak around 80 degrees. In the afternoon a few showers will be possible, but the main chance for thunderstorms will hold off until the late evening and overnight. A line of possibly strong to severe storms will arrive in the Bluegrass after 10 P.M. They will push east through the overnight.

Lingering clouds and showers on Friday will keep temperatures in the upper 60s to around 70 degrees.
