Update: Three Arrested After A Deadly Shooting Inside Lexington Apartment

A man is dead after a shooting at a Lexington apartment complex late Monday night.

It happened at the Creekside South Apartment Complex on Devonport Drive around 10:45.

We’re told three suspects forced their way into an apartment and a gun fight broke out with the people inside.

Police confirm that a 26-year-old man inside that apartment was killed. The coroner’s report states that he suffered multiple gunshot wounds.

Two of the suspects were also shot. Both were taken to UK Hospital.

At last check, one was in critical condition while the other only had minor injuries.

Police say they do have the third suspect in custody.

Neighbors say there was at least one child inside the apartment at the time of the shooting.

Officials have arrested Alexander Burdette, Rodneisha Murphy, and 1 juvenile.
