A disturbing photo that appeared on Boyle County High School's unofficial Facebook page and the Boyle County Courthouse websites has been removed, according to officials.

Investigators said a picture that looked like a dead body showed up online, and appeared to be animated.

They said they're not sure how the photo was posted or why, but they believe it may have been caused by some kind of glitch.

Officials contacted Facebook about the picture, and the photo was taken down.
