Day two of Christina Marcum's trial continued today in Richmond.
She's charged in connection to the gruesome murder of her ex-boyfriend's wife in Richmond.
Tuesday, a testimony of regret from one of the victim's family members.
The first witness on Tuesday morning was Angela Frazier- Singleton's cousin Vanessa Goodin. She told the court that she introduced Angela to Jason Singleton. Saying she wishes she could take back that meeting.
Goodin testified that she was friends with Marcum but says Marcum blamed her for Angela and Jason meeting and eventually getting married.
Goodin was the last person to speak to Frazier-Singleton before she went missing.
A KSP investigator who searched Singletons' home after the standoff said they found parts of carpeting cut out of the floor.
They say it appeared the carpet pieces were thrown into a fire but forensics were unable to prove as much.
When the defense questioned Vanessa Goodin she said when she was interviewed by police that she never said she believed Marcum was involved in the murder.
The trial will continue on Wednesday.
