Anthony Davis suffered a sprained left ankle on Saturday during his first workout with hte New Orleans Hornets.

On Monday, the team said his status is "day-to-day."

That means the former Wildcat, 2012 NCAA National Champ and 1st pick in last week's NBA Draft probably won't represent the U.S. in the London Olympic Games later this month.

The 12-man roster will be released on Saturday.
