Darius Miller, a key member of the University of Kentucky’s national championship men’s basketball team, will throw a ceremonial first pitch before the Lexington Legends’ opening night game Thursday, April 12 at Whitaker Bank Ballpark.

Miller played in all 40 games for the Wildcats in 2011-12, started 11, and played a vital role as a sixth man in Kentucky’s run to its eighth national championship.  He averaged just under 10 points per game.

A senior from Maysville,Kentucky, Miller led his Mason County High School team to the 2008 state championship. He was named Kentucky’s 2008 Mr. Basketball as a high school senior.
