According to Business Insider, Danville is the second best small town in the nation.

The publication cited Danville's "rich history" as part of the reason for its high ranking.

The city was also listed as "the most beautiful town in all of America" back in 2012.

Bardstown and Murray also made the list, falling right behind Danville as numbers 3 and 4, respectively.

So, who beat out Danville as the top small town in the country?

Denton, Texas, for its fashion, friendliness, food, patriotism, arts, and music scene.
