Danville is a finalist for a national honor.

The company famous for maps 'Rand McNally' is on the hunt, looking for the best small towns in America.

And Danville is a finalist in the 'Most Beautiful' category.

The Rand McNally people will be in Danville this week to look over the town.

Events are planned to highlight Danville's best features.

And if Danville wins, it will be mentioned in Rand McNally atlases and websites.
