Kentucky celebrity Dalton Dingus has lost his battle with Cystic Fibrosis.

The nine-year-old from Magoffin County passed away at 7:30 tonight.

Dalton wanted to break the world record for receiving more than 35,000 Christmas cards.

At last count he had 740,000.
